Mr. Eric

Mr. Eric (Music Teacher)

Bio:

At Gan Shelanu Preschool Center, our Music program introduces children to the joy of rhythm and melody. Through singing, instrument play, and movement, children develop a love for music and enhance their auditory and expressive skills.

Mr. Erik is our talented music teacher who comes with experience working in elementary Music. Over the last few years, he made a shift in careers and has focused on teaching at the early childhood level. We are certainly glad he did it because he is wonderful with our kids and his program is very engaging and fun. We look forward to making music with Mr. Erik!

Ms. Donna

Ms. Donna (Nursery Rhymes Teacher)

Bio:
Rhyme With Me!

Rhyme with me is an English immersion specialist class which focuses on introducing toddlers and preschool level kids to classic Nursery Rhymes.

Each class led by our very own Miss Donna, focuses on a new nursery rhyme where children learn to recite and do a follow up activity related to it.

A great way to encourage children to become interested in language patterns and rhythm. Nursery rhymes support communication skills and build confidence in preparing children for reading and writing as they are getting older.

Looking forward to watching our youngsters rhyme throughout our school.

Ms. Sylvia

Ms. Silvia (Gymnastics Teacher)

Bio:

Ms. Silvia our Gymnastics teacher at Gan Shelanu Preschool brings a wealth of enthusiasm and decades of experience to preschool Gymnastics. Her program specializes in movement, balance and coordination using gymnastics apparatus that changes bimonthly.

Ms. Silvia is a graduate of Vingate institute in Israel and holds a yoga certification. She is passionate about making each call joyful and a rewarding experience for your learners. Looking forward to exercising with Ms. Silvia!

Ms. Keren

Ms. Keren (Animali Teacher)

Bio:

Animali is a nature program with live animals designed especially for children in mind. This exciting, innovative program educated kids about animals in a fun and adventurous way.

The children will meet and learn through hands on activities such as show and tell, hands on petting, songs, storytelling, games, dramatic play, pictures, Gymboree and take-home activities.

Nature activities are a learning experience that appeal to all senses!

Ms. Donna

Ms. Donna (Kids Around The World Teacher)

Bio:

Our Pre-k level students at Gan Shelanu Preschool get to “travel” around the world with our very own Ms. Donna.

While traveling they learn about kids from different parts of the world and get familiar with the country’s unique culture, flag, language, customs, and foods.

Special hands-on activities songs and exploration enhances our students with information on each country learned.

Our students way eagerly twice a month to travel and experience what other kids do in different parts of the world with Ms.Donna as she brings to class many prompts and enthusiasm when introducing each country.

Looking forward to going around the world and getting to know kids from other countries!

Ms. Orily

Ms. Orily (Spanish Teacher)

Bio:
Hola Amigos!

Our Pre-K level class explores the Spanish language at our center with our very own Ms. Orily. Ms. Orily is a Guatemala native and brings fourth knowledge of the Spanish language.

Spanish with her is taught orally and focuses on vocabulary buildup and repetition. Concepts such as; colors, animals, fruits, clothes, seasons numbers and feelings, are all incorporated through dramatic play games, songs and reenactment.

Our children enjoy acquiring another language and love to share it with their families at home.

Ms. Lisa

Ms. Lisa (Hebrew Teacher)

Bio:

Our Preschoolers and Pre-K level class at Gan Shelanu get to experience twice a month a Hebrew literature Class.

A unique program ran by our very own Ms. Lisa who introduces classic literature books in Hebrew we all grew up on!

Over the course of six weeks the class focuses on each Classic literature book. Our children get to hear the story, learn the different parts of the story and discuss the plot.

They continue in be reenacting the story and make a follow-up activity to take home and share with their families.

The class is ran exclusively in Hebrew and the kiddos love it!

Looking forward to watching our kids grow up on such classic Hebrew books!
